The last few days have convinced me that we are in the midst of hurricane season--Hurricane Declan, that is. He has become a very busy, very curious, rather destructive little boy.
His favorite games include taking things out of containers/bags/baskets. He often returns the items to their containers, but sometimes doesn't. He is also very fond of finding new things to put inside of other things. He also loves to create stacks of things.
It is virtually impossible to keep the house clean under these conditions. Ah, well. I suspect that we can survive.

It flabbergasts me when I go to Santa Barbara how many times a day she cleans up the house with the 3 kids. I can barely keep up with tidying after myself.
